You can help in several ways, such as being a volunteer, a financial supporter, a representative, or a sponsor of a children’s house. Further details on how to help can be found under the Support Us menu. Please contact us through the info box on this page if you have any questions or would like to become involved.
Support usRehoboth comes from the Bible verse Genesis 26:22. The story is about Isaac’s shepherds who kept moving away from the Philistines due to the fighting over wells. When they eventually moved far enough that there was no more fighting, they dug a well and named it Rehoboth. This name means lots of space to flourish in the land. The symbolism is that God provides the space and means to take care of orphaned and abandoned children so they can flourish. It is a privilege to care for these children and our prayer is that they grow into beautiful people.
Learn moreRehoboth has two main objectives. The first is to have the vulnerable children reunited with their extended family if possible. If this is not achievable, the second objective is to have the children grow up at Rehoboth into mature, independent role model adults who will contribute to society in a positive way.
Learn moreRehoboth uses a five-way holistic approach to care for children in spiritual, emotional, physical, educational, and medical areas. We are unique in providing quality family life to a group of children with special needs.
Learn moreRehoboth is closely linked to the Murchison hospital, which supports our team in offering proper medical care to infected children. We have also established a close network with all other HIV related stakeholders in the region. Rehoboth is a member of the CINDI network and maintains strong relationships with various government departments and municipalities. All these partnerships contribute to our holistic care approach.
